Based in the Czech Republic, we specialize in designing and producing high-performance rims and complete wheelsets for all MTB disciplines. The Name Behind the Brand: IBEX
The name IBEX is inspired by the Alpine ibex, a mountain goat renowned for its incredible climbing abilities and agility in the most challenging terrains. Just like the ibex, our products are designed to offer lightness, precision, and durability, enabling riders to conquer any trail with confidence and ease. Our rims and wheels are built to reflect the ibex's resilience and unmatched ability to navigate rough and rugged landscapes.
Our Mission
At IBEX, our mission is to set new standards in performance, precision, and reliability for cycling enthusiasts worldwide. We take pride in our exceptional manufacturing capabilities, which allow us to produce our own spokes, rims, and hubs—including all components except for bearings. Our advanced manufacturing processes and cutting-edge technologies ensure that every product is crafted with the utmost precision.
We source all our aluminum from trusted Czech suppliers, ensuring local quality and sustainability. For our spokes, we use only the highest-grade duplex steel from Sweden, known for its strength and durability. Our nipples are produced in state-of-the-art German facilities, reflecting the pinnacle of European craftsmanship. At IBEX, we believe in creating products that are not only high-performance but also showcase the excellence of European manufacturing.
